BULLS'N'BEARS

They came out of the night
And they came out of the day
Washing their hands with fire
Dressed up as friendly saints
And now I’m here
Watching their lies

What happened there along the street ?
Who hired the bear with the paper suit?
Knocking down the greedy wall
Jewels, rings and bulls that roll
And you are here
Watching their lies

You count the buttons and the nails and the threads
I go to cut a stick of rosemary plant
The kettle in the secret stream
Hopes we’II have enough to live
And we are here
Watching their lies

Sea’s getting foolish and the lighthouse warns
You adorn my fur, I’m loosing horns
Mornings never been so heavy
I start believing you are leaving
Now we are crashed
Watching our lies

KAREL'S DREAM

Take me along the River of Expressions
Where the all great men men have shown their actions
Spelling their knowledge to the entire community
Drinking their fate and forging our history

But running along down the bank
I met a on old man askin for bread
He told me to stop my anxious run
He told me to look at the journey of the sun

Take me along the River of Expressions
Where the old wise men shattered the quiteness
Writing new rules and ways to behave
Making them fools believing in remaining

For a while I stopped my eyes on the waterfalls
On the beach where I reached a woman in red
She told me not to believe in the other talks
And not to believe I'm above the other folks

Take me back to the good-shirt times
When the cuffs were torn and trousers not fine
Show me the dawn capturing the fields
The sails of a Schooner imprisoning the breeze
Bury the ordinary luxury boredom
Sinks the fool boy with his misty door
Dream of the ladies and only one's right
Thank lord for dinner and serve us blood pie

But suddenly the scream of a painful end
Covered the water pelting with red
A freezing creep reached me from the sand
Nature around remained wild and deaf

Take me down to the delta of Expressions
Where the kings and the queens are full of affection
Calling their subjects brothers and friends
Where the rich and the poor are equal pence

My anxious run became fast and desperate
A curious heart like me I wished to meet
Only a banker sailing around
He offered me a crossing but his boat went down

MY HEROINE WALTZ

Well I'm taking love from the beaming of our souls
While the lady of the farm is cursing the landlord
And the tipsy chicks on beaches are feeling hot
and alone and alone and alone
Many people have lost their eyes avoiding gambles
To regain the light it would be enough a candle
As for me your skin smell makes my brain go blank
and a far and a far from this world

All the journeys that have torn me by you led
But in every coincidence you escaped from there
As a masked heroine riding on her white horse
Made me thirsty so thirsty of you
I do not remember why and how it happened
I was lying down on a carpet flying to Scotland
They were all below asking what's the news
I above and above stayed with you

Well we're taking love from the burning of our soul
While the chimney pot is coughing out blue smoke
And freewheeling chicks on beaches are feeling hot
and alone and alone and alone
I do not remember how and why it happend
I was lying down on a carpet flying to Scotland
While your skin smell made my brain go blank
and a far and a far from this world

LOST AND BLUE

Asked you to believe
But you shown me a new writing
Asked you to obey
But you said no I can't even stay

Now you seem so far
Now you face the dark
You're lost and blue

Told you where to read
But you shown me a new calligraphy
Told you to obey
But you said yes that's all you can say

Now you seem so far
Now you face the dark
You're lost and blue

Told you how to use it
But you through it away from your thoughts
Told you that's the best
But you kissed the rest in the mud

Now you seem so clear
Now you don't have fear
You're lost and free

I LIKE YOU

Looking from a window of the Station Hotel
Trying to focus on the day
Search among the people for the girl I knew
Asking her "How are you?"
And "I like you! Oo-oh! Don't you know?"
And "I like you" From wich sky did you fall!?"

Granny Anna's selling her daughter Sue
For a pair of golden shoes
Pavarotti is tapping on his tummy huge
Singing from me to you
"I Like You! I'm all Joyful"
"How's liking you? It's like a blowin' up!"

Looking from the keyhole of my entrance door
At the poker hand of Hook
Calling through my memories the girl I knew
"Who's wrong if not me and you?"
"But I like you! Oo-oh! Don't you know!?"
And "I like you! My heart does stall!"

Mary-Ann doesn't want to open the gate
She's gingly dancing safe
I'm mixed up low on peak of silly saying
Never having climbed on
"Do I like you? I feel it to be true!
Why I like you? I wanna kiss you soon"

THINKIN'OF LAURETTE

Parking down the wagon at the
Buenos Aires Restaurant
Too much for you, too many glasses full
Worried by Surubi’s eye-red
Want you buy a Dorado’s head?
Unless you guess how’s the river’s called
The multicolours guitars will fall

Are you so hungry friend?
Or are you thinkin'of Laurette?
Tell me, are you so angry friend?
Are you still thinkin'of Laurette?

All the Gauchos’ gear is hang up
Lovin’ couples kissing entwained
The Sangria wine dimension caught you heart

Black chilly beans and silly folks
Are turning around your thrilling bones
And you need more blood to suck
From your chorizo steak

What are you sighing for?
Are you still thinkin'of Laurette soul?
What are you sighing for?
Are you still thinkin' of Laurette skirt?

What a mess our desk
So many spots on the towel
Look like mistakes in our course
Where thirst is love bound

Lighting two cuban Marevas
Friendly breezes empty leave us
Watching down the road
Were stars fall alone
My eyes clears, hers with no tears
Shiny teeths and pinky cheeks
No one told me how beautiful can
Can be beauty

Sorry Friend I can't change my mood
But I’m just thinkin’of Laurette too
Sorry Friend I can’t tell you
But I’m still thinkin'of Laurette too

MODENA CITY BLUES

The rolling trident lights the old railway bridge
Historical brand of luxury speed
All around the kebab markets replace clients with their friends
A polyethnic scenario dealing with high rents
We're still young, not too young to remain
Could we ever feel more shame?
Well it's Modena
Ain't the sea
But's the same

The food market hall in the centre of the town
A marvellous dance of colours scents and crowd
Go straight across the plaza, reach the station where the trains
Joke with students and workers selling fashion of being late
Yes we're young, not too young to remain
Could we ever feel more shame?
Well it's Modena
Ain't the sea
But's the same

The Romanic cathedral with its crypt and Magic Saint
Cuddles well-off families, lawyers and businessmen
Doesn't matter obviously if you are a true believer
The important is to have the same kind of fever
Yes we're young, not too young to remain
Could we ever have their gain?
Well it's Modena
Ain't the sea
But's the same

Surrounding country villages dish up talents all around
All their true ambition is to drink a beer downtown
They grew up eating chops and crying out for a crown
Call them with their nickname and they'll behave as a clown
Oh they're young not so young to do it again
Could we ever reach their fame?
Well it's Modena
Ain't the sea
But's the same

Avanguarde hospitals for cancer specialized
Here be sure your tumour will be bombed any size
But hurry up my friend, smoke a lot, let's get ill
Been told me that the supreme chief will make us pay the bill
For the health for the medicines for the cures
Well be bent to insure
Well it's Italy
Got the sea
But's a shame

My dear brother friend, are you fine? are you well?
Here the things are going towards some kind of hell
All the beauty al the safety with which we have grown up
Are gonna have to face a changing wind blow up
You were young you've been gone on your way
I've been so wrong to remain
Here in Modena
Among the villes to regale

UNPACKED ROMANCE

I'm standing on a wall of luck and mind
And you don't have the ability to climb
Every wrong world that you tell me
Will cost you boiling oil on your fake wings

Ask me if I care of juggling bees
Don't If I really love you
Ask me where I want to go and live
Don't if I'll carry you

I'll never answer as you think
I never answer as I'll think

Every time a man's searching for fame
Condemns himself to hunger or shame
Sometimes a man born out of pain
Walks the line of greatness and fame

Ask me if I care of juggling bees
Don't If I really love you
Ask me where I want to go and live
Don't if I'll carry you

I'll never answer as you think
I never answer as I'll think

I've been asking myself for hours
How many tastes got your wounds
I wanna hold you Mary Lou

I'm Sailing all along you honest shores
Down to your deep true thoughts
Standing in a boat called Reverie
that's why it's agitate your sea

I'll never go to visit those dark hills
As they still give me the creeps
A funny useless speaking of two lovers
Split on two different pendent rows

And she says hello hello
From the sidewalk down below
She's full of reassurances
Waving hand but walking with me

I wanna know now what's the game
Who's gonna rolling out the way
I want to kill you Mary Lou

I wanna know now what's the game
Who's gonna rolling out the way
I wanna save you Mary Lou

PINK SHOES GAL BLUES

She’s got new shoes
And she feels in their fused
She’s got court shoes
With a hole for the toes
A pair is pink
And it seems to me blink
Another one
Wouldn’t be useful to run
But when I met her in a town fair
I could not think at all I swear
That loving her should have meant love her shoes

I saw her yesterday
In a rare jacket of moose
I couldn’t avoid
to give a look to her boots
were madly built
in a cloth of kilt
I told her wait for me
I must have a long drink
But when I met her for the first time
I was too naive to understand why
For loving her I would have to love her shoes

Lady Ale she’s called
Never stopped to talk
As I saw a
Silky skin passing the door
She was in rags
with a silver necklace
her look’s enough
to make me feel being blessed

I can’t explain
What has stopped in my brain
Or‘s not my brain
The real cause of your pain
I could be worst
Wicked, cynic or nastier
I’m just trying to
make the final quit faster

So when we’ll meet again at the party
Among your friends with their gals thirsty
Don’t expect I steal the moon for you

EVELINE

Eveline
She cried like a child
Eveline
Her heart was unsigned
But he was true
Trying to take and
Keep her hands

Eveline
So lucky her necklace
Shining and resting on her breast
And he was there
Watching her eyes
Thrilling and sighing

Eveline
Does she know
That for every good man
At least there are a hundred bad?

Eveline
The weight of a choice
Eveline
The thoughts such a noise

The plane was there
Ready to take her
To the hell

Eveline
Does she know
That for every good man
At least there are a hundred bad?

Eveline
Eveline

WHERE THE STARS BEGIN

And all the things we've never seen
Because of the deepness of the sea

And all the faces we’ve never known
Which ones we would have shifted who knows

And all the roads we've never ran
But every rain we drained we drank

On those few wheels we travelled away
We’ve kept each other from black shades
but most of all
We've learned to know where the stars begin

I know you feel sad about these days
I know you're still split in two different ways

If I could pick you up on myself
You’d find our sadness slipping hardly away

But teach me, reach me, kiss my lips
And feel my love on your tender hips

On those flying leaves we’ll dance somehow
We’ll keep each other from falling down
but most of all
We’ll learn to grow where the stars begin
